Things are very busy at Team WWML at the moment with lots of things happening in the lead up to October 10. Photos have been taken around Launceston for our new website which will hopefully be up within the next fortnight. A big thank you to everyone who helped out with the photo shoot. Massive thank you to Kym, Ken, Sari, Ella and Glen for all their patience and help on the day.
In other quite exciting news, we are pleased to announce that thanks to Streets Alive, we'll be taking over the front of Year Zero from 24th-30th August. Coinciding with Junction 2010, the Streets Alive 2010 festival is an Arts Trail which will convert many of Launceston's public spaces into public galleries. More information about it, as well as what we're up to, can be found in their program (we're on page 7!). We're excited to be a part of this festival and hope everyone will get a chance to check out our installation!
Finally, thank you to everyone who has registered to take part in WWML 2010 and to those who are helping to spread the word. For those who have asked, we are happy to have anyone with a connection to Launceston involved in WWML 2010 regardless of where you are currently living. Also, if you're from Launceston but lucky enough to be on holidays in October, take a photo of where ever you are and send it in. We'll probably be very jealous, but we'll still love to have you involved.
Rowena
